Our process

  • Find out what to expect from our recruitment process.

    Seen something you like?

The first step in the process is to apply by completing an online application. You will be asked to complete some personal details and then either an online application form or upload a CV and cover letter. The process could take an hour or more depending on how much you want to tell us, so please give yourself enough time.

    You’ve applied, what next?

Our vacancies are advertised for a specified amount of time and the closing date is stated on the advert. You can typically expect to be notified the outcome of your application within three weeks of the closing date.

    The interview

Although the type of interview can vary depending on the role, you can typically expect a competency-based interview when you come and meet with us. During a competency-based interview, we ask you to give us actual examples of when you’ve shown the behaviours that are important for the role. Again, depending on the role, we may ask you to complete a psychometric assessment or carry out some preparation ahead of the interview. Whatever the situation, we’ll be sure to let you know in advance what to expect.

If you require reasonable adjustments due to a disability, please contact us in advance of your interview.

    How can you best prepare?

We will send you all the information you’ll need; who you will be seeing, how long the interview will take and any specific information that may be part of the selection process.

Please bring proof of your eligibility to work in the country where the role is based to your interview.

    What happens after the interview?

After your interview, we will of course aim to notify you of the outcome as soon as we can; typically this should not take longer than ten days. If you would like to request more detailed feedback, please let us know and we will arrange for this to be provided.

    Additional information

Please note that we do not pay travel expenses for interviews unless we have relocated the interview to another office in another location. If this is the case, please contact us and we will confirm to you what reimbursement is available.

Please note: if your interview is at our Birmingham office, allow an extra 10 minutes to enable you to go through security and reception.
