Guidance for company and commercial lawyers

The Money Laundering Task Force has prepared guidance specifically designed for company commercial lawyers. Part I of this guidance deals with the current Money Laundering Regulations (2003), including client referrals and Insolvency Practitioner clients. There is also guidance on a range of relevant topics, such as the use of client account, confidentiality agreements, and the formation of companies. Part II of the guidance deals with reporting issues, including asset sales and sale by way of share.
