Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion
Lesley Wan, corporate real estate counsel, Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking
Lesley Wan is corporate real estate counsel for Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) and manages the legal risk for a £40bn commercial property portfolio. Lesley is passionate about diversity and inclusion and leads the hugely successful LBG women’s Breakthrough Mentoring programme which now has approximately 9,500 members.
She supports the Suited & Booted charity for the legal department and has persuaded House of Fraser to launch a nationwide campaign to raise awareness and invite the public to donate suits. In 2012, Lesley created her own initiative to help young students from less affluent areas learn about City professions and inspire them to go on to higher education. Three of those students have now set up their own businesses and are progressing to university.
