Geographical coverage
The Midlands region covers the counties of Derbyshire, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands Metropolitan County (Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton), Worcestershire.
The Law Society in the Midlands
Our aims within the region are to:
- work with solicitor members to understand their needs in order to represent their interests within the Law Society.
- inform solicitors of Law Society services and activities taking place in their region.
- promote the profession to outside bodies (for example media, businesses, and professional organisations).
Midlands relationship manager - Clive Black
Clive joined the Law Society in February 2005 to set up the Midlands regional office. Before joining the Law Society, Clive spent 25 years working for two large international companies, and was also seconded to the Home Office to lead the government's Ethnic Minority Business Initiative. He is a graduate of King's College, University of London.
