The Law Society is committed to fulfilling the purposes of the Welsh Language Act 1993; the Welsh Language Board fully endorsed it in November 1999.
The Law Society recognises the effective use of the Welsh and English languages in serving law and justice in Wales as a fundamental aspect of providing good quality services.
The Society in Wales uses the English and Welsh languages equally to provide its Welsh services.
