We actively support and promote community investment activities including pro bono work and charitable giving.
Pro bono work
We support pro bono work through:
- our sponsorship of National Pro Bono Week, www.probonouk.net and the Junior Lawyers Division Pro Bono Awards
- our seats on the Attorney General's Pro Bono and International Pro Bono Committees
- our International Action Team of volunteers who take part in human rights interventions and governance projects around the world
Fundraising and charitable giving
We support fundraising and charitable giving through:
- our payroll giving scheme
- sponsorship and matched staff fundraising for events like the London Legal Walk
- profession wide charitable appeals for causes such as the Law Society of Zimbabwe and as a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee Rapid Response Network
