Our South West region covers Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, and Monmouthshire (Dorset is covered by the South East region).
The Law Society in the South West
Our aims within the region are to:
- work with solicitor members to understand their needs in order to represent their interests within the Law Society.
- inform solicitors of Law Society services and activities taking place in their region.
- promote the profession to outside bodies (for example media, businesses, and professional organisations).
Your regional representatives
Regional manager - Matthew Still
Matthew heads our presence in the region. His role is to represent the interests of solicitor members and to ensure they have a voice within the national organisation.
Matthew has worked in management roles within the Law Society for nearly ten years, prior to which he was in private practice. He is keen to use his knowledge and skills to benefit solicitors in the region and is always pleased to hear from individuals and firms seeking support and other information from him.
