Geographical coverage
Our Yorkshire region stretches from the east coast and the Humber estuary across East Riding, the North Yorkshire moors, the Vale of York and the Dales to the Pennines to West and South Yorkshire.
The Law Society in Yorkshire
Our aims within the region are to:
- work with solicitor members to understand their needs in order to represent their interests within the Law Society.
- inform solicitors of Law Society services and activities taking place in their region.
- promote the profession to outside bodies (for example media, businesses, and professional organisations).
Your regional representative
Regional manager - Fiona Tatton
Fiona has worked for the Law Society since 2007. Prior to this she worked for Yorkshire Forward, the regional development agency, and for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in a member-facing role in Yorkshire. Fiona studied at the University of Hull before going on to work at the University of Sheffield. She is committed to supporting Yorkshire solicitors across all sectors to help them become more successful and to provide the highest possible service to their clients.
