Find a Solicitor

Consumer Law enables consumers that purchase commodities or services to enforce their rights through negotiation or through the courts.

This is an area of law where we actively seek to improve the law, procedure and practice.

These pages do not attempt to explain current law or to give legal advice on consumer law. If you want to know more or if you need advice on a consumer law issue, you can find a consumer lawyer using Find a Solicitor.

The Law Society has a Consumer Issues Reference Group. We also produce guides to common legal problems.
