Ensure you have the support you need to stay at the forefront of advocacy and to deal with the challenges faced by solicitor advocates. Our Advocacy Section training programme can help civil, family and criminal advocates to compete successfully with other professional advocates and meet the challenges of daily practice.
The Advocacy Section was developed in response to feedback from solicitor advocates, and aims to provide support equivalent to that delivered by Inns of Court, creating a supportive community of peers and judges.
The needs of criminal advocates are currently most acute and the section will help you prepare for the introduction of the new assessment regime, the Quality Assurance Scheme for Advocates (QASA).
