Testimonials
The Diploma is an excellent starting point to help develop a successful legal career in local government. I trained with a local authority and believed that my law society final examinations did not fully prepare me for the skills required to work in the public sector. I discovered the Diploma and absolutely recommend it to anyone who wishes to fully understand the fundamental framework and principles of local government. I recall the Diploma being flexible and therefore a great course to complete as part of an individual’s ongoing learning and development.

I took the Diploma a few years after qualification as a solicitor in local government. I wanted to understand more fully the corporate governance provisions which underpin the machinery of local government and assist my professional development. It was invaluable on both counts and assisted my career progression. I would recommend the course to every solicitor in local government. You can plan the modules around your own time and gain your full CPD requirements. It's an extra feather in your cap!
