The Legal Services Board has extended the time it needs to consider the SRA’s application to introduce a new minimum level of PII cover, reduced to £500,000. The LSB has made it clear that in view of the complexity of the issues, it requires additional time. It therefore seems highly unlikely that a change to the current Minimum Terms and Conditions is achievable in time for implementation on 1 October.
