Search for organisations that employ solicitors in their legal teams. It currently includes the trading names of some law firms, law centres, advice bureaux, and teams of in-house lawyers that do not provide advice to the public.

When choosing a solicitor you can be confident they are professionally qualified and properly regulated. Regulation is carried about by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
You have the right to be treated with care and professionalism by your solicitor. A solicitor should act in your best interests and in accordance with the law. You can view the rules and principles of professional conduct for solicitors in the Solicitors' Code of Conduct.
