No win no fee agreements

Question

'No win no fee' : What will I have to pay?

Answer

You will have to pay any other incurred costs such as court fees or the fee for a medical report (these are known as disbursements). If your case fails, it is also likely that the court will say that you must pay the legal costs of the other side. However, your solicitor should be able to arrange insurance for you to cover both the disbursements and the other side's legal costs if you lose your claim (this is known as an 'After the event insurance policy').
