Bromley solicitors Frazer Bradshaw has become the 1,000th law practice to be awarded
Lexcel, the Law Society's law management
accreditation.
The firm passed the
rigorous assessment required to obtain the Lexcel status, which
provides professionals in law firms and in-house legal departments
with a flexible, supportive management framework to help manage
risk effectively, reduce costs and promote
profitability.
Lexcel is only awarded
to practices that meet high management and client care standards.
All Lexcel accredited practices must undergo an annual application
and independent assessment process to ensure they meet the required
management standards.
Law Society President
John Wotton said: 'Securing the Lexcel mark of excellence is
no mean feat, so we congratulate Frazer Bradshaw for this
achievement. Frazer Bradshaw's existing and new clients will be
able to identify the firm as one of 1000 that has gained
recognition for its commitment to best practice in law
management.
'Reaching 1000
Lexcel practices is a major milestone. It means that across England
& Wales, there are practices who can say with confidence they
have met the high standards in law management and that their
clients are assured genuine quality in their dealings with their
solicitor. In fact, we now have Lexcel firms accredited in
Scotland, the Republic of Ireland and even Poland, which goes to
show the value afforded to the quality
mark.'
Frazer Bradshaw, a
criminal law specialist firm on Bromley High Street, underwent
months of assessment in order to achieve the accolade from the
national Law Society, but it was worth the wait according to the
firm's principal, Frazer Bradshaw.
He said: 'We are
proud to be a Lexcel firm and it is a bonus to be the country's
1,000th Lexcel accredited legal practice. Anyone coming through our
doors will know they are in safe hands, that their case will be
handled to the highest level of professionalism. Our achievement
also goes to show that Lexcel is obtainable by firms of all sizes
and that it is quality that matters.
'Lexcel will help
Frazer Bradshaw stand out in what could soon be a legal services
market that sees more providers emerging from outside the
solicitors' profession.'
