New senior appointment at the Law Society

The Law Society, the professional body for solicitors in
England and Wales, has appointed Dr Patricia Greer to the new role
of Chief of Corporate Affairs, with responsibility for policy,
communications and stakeholder engagement. The role reflects a new
senior management structure, reporting to Chief Executive Desmond
Hudson.
Patricia Greer joins from the National School of
Government where she is Strategic Director for Client Relations and
Director of Delivery. Her experience includes a range of senior
private and public sector positions including four years as the
Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit and ten years
with leading management consultancies including KPMG and PA
Consulting. She will join the Law Society in March.
Patricia Greer said: “There are many challenges and
opportunities facing the legal profession. I am looking
forward to joining the Law Society as it works to equip its members
to adapt to the changing market environment.”
