It is almost one year since applications opened for the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). With over 1000 accredited firms across England & Wales and many more in the pipeline, the scheme has quickly grown beyond expectations and has been a great success for both the Society and the profession in 2011. We have already put in place plans for CQS in 2012 and expect it to be equally, if not more successful next year.
CQS firms can now apply for reaccreditation to renew their 12 month membership. The application form has been shortened and there is no application fee for this stage. There is however a membership fee payable at the outset.
