Join the Lawyers with Disabilities Division for a half day mini-conference aimed at law students and trainee solicitors with disabilities who want to know more about embarking on a career as a solicitor. The conference will take place on Thursday 25 October 2012 between 12:30pm-4:30pm, followed by a drinks reception.
The programme will consist of:
- a presentation from DWF LLP
- advice on preparing your CV
- general techniques for obtaining a training contract
- advice and guidance on whether to declare your disability
- advice on access to work
- getting involved with pro bono work and real life experiences of LDD members.
