The family tender process required applicants to have provided
their verification to the Legal Services Commission (LSC) by 5
December with a longstop date of 20 December.
The LSC reports that as of 12 December 43 per cent of applicants
at office level have not provided verification.
Section D, page 38 of the Information for Applicants is very
clear, after the 20 December the LSC will withdraw the offer of a
contract.
The LSC reports that the main issues with applications are:
- those who have provided nothing at all
- those who have provided a supervisor declaration form that is
incomplete
- those who have provided an incorrect declaration (firms
indicating that key personnel are in place but not that the
information in the tender remains valid).
Family firms must comply with the deadline and ensure that the
information given is complete and correct.
