Amending environmental impact assessment regulations consultation - Law Society's response

Posted: 3 February 2017

The Law Society's Planning and Environmental Law Committee has responded to a Department for Communities and Local Government consultation on amending environmental impact assessment (EIA) regulations.

The committee was keen to see consistency among the devolved administrations (having also recently responded to a Welsh EIA consultation) and that the EIA provisions are transposed in a way that ensures effective compliance with Directive 2014/52/EU.
