Written evidence on draft Children and Families Bill to Justice Select Committee

The Law Society has been asked to submit written evidence to the Justice Select Committee as part of its inquiry into the draft legislation on the Children and Families Bill. The main recommendations coming under the Select Committee's scrutiny are mediation, child-arrangement orders, expert evidence, time limits, judicial scrutiny of care plans, and divorce. The Law Society will also be giving oral evidence to the Committee.
