Legal practices committed to inclusion must be confident that the recruitment consultants they use are proactive in searching out talent from the widest range of backgrounds and communities.The Law Society and a number of leading law firms are encouraging legal recruitment agencies to use a model form to monitor the diversity information of their candidates.

Collected information should be aggregated and used to provide reports on a quarterly basis to any client who wishes to see it. This method of monitoring will inform a better understanding of the legal talent pool, and is an important opportunity for legal recruiters to demonstrate to their clients that they share a commitment to equality and diversity.
