This practice note explains some issues solicitors need to be aware of under the Compensation Act 2006, including:
- claims referrals received from a claims referrals company or a claims management company
- ensuring that your website is not breaching your legal and professional obligations
- separate businesses, not run as part of your law firm, which undertake relevant claims management services
