Damages-based agreement Regulation 2010
On 9 April 2010 the Damages-Based Agreements Regulations 2010 ("the Regulations") came into force, governing the use of DBAs in employment tribunal work. If you use or intend to use a DBA in any employment tribunal matter you must comply with the regulations which impose specific requirements on the content and limits of any agreement. This practice note is intended to assist you in complying with the requirements of the regulations.
