Improving efficiency in the Criminal Justice System

5 October 2011

The Law Society has produced a report on how the criminal justice system can be improved, based on consultation with practitioners.

During February and March 2011 the Law Society conducted a series of seminars to provide an opportunity for local criminal justice practitioners to identify and discuss the 'rubbing points' in the criminal justice process in their area, and to consider possible solutions to these inefficiencies.

The report is based on discussions in these meetings.
