The future of the UK's relationship with the rest of the EU is a hot topic, particularly in light of the prime minister's announcement in January 2013 that any future Conservative government would seek to re-negotiate the terms of the UK's membership and put the outcome to a referendum.
The Law Society is monitoring the debate closely, as well as contributing to the government's balance of competences review by responding to those consultation papers on matters of most interest to solicitors and their clients.
