Guidelines
- Before you make your entry, review the relevant category criteria and read the entry rules and procedures.
- Prepare your submission within the requested number of words. Ensure your independent objective evidence, if submitting, does not exceed the guideline of three sides of A4.
- Collate the necessary details to make your entry. If you are nominating anyone other than yourself you will also need to collate contact details of your nominated individual, team or practice.
- When you are ready, make your submission by using one of the two ways shown below.
Make your nomination
There are two easy ways to make a nomination. Remember you can nominate yourself or others.
- Nominate online using our online entry system, or
- email your entry to awards@lawsociety.org.uk.
Emailing your entry
If you are emailing your entry we will need:
- pages 6, 7 and 8 of the PDF entry form (PDF 321kb) to be completed, scanned and attached as part of your submission
- independent objective evidence from relevant third parties - this must not exceed three sides of A4
- a 50 word summary of your entry - this description will be used in publicity material if your entry is shortlisted so please ensure that this is correct
Nominations for individual awards
In addition to including the three bullet points above, nominations for individual awards must include a 500 word summary of why the nominee should win.
Nominations for practice/team awards
In addition to including the three bullet points above, nominations for practice/team awards must include 150 words under each of the following headings:
- An outline of the initiatives/actions taken
- Reasons for taking these initiatives/actions
- Significant issues addressed
- Benefits to the practice or organisation
- Evidence of impact in clients or others
Entries must arrive no later than Friday 9 August 2013.
