Draft Communications Bill - written evidence

In our evidence to the joint committee on the draft Communications Data bill, we have stressed the need for a review into how surveillance powers in the UK are exercised. We have also repeated our calls for an overhaul of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act to ensure explicit protection of communications between lawyers and their clients.
