  • We offer practical advice and assistance to solicitors and employees of solicitors, enabling you to provide the best service to your clients.

    We can also direct you to the most appropriate support for any professional or personal problems you may be facing.

  • Practice Advice Service (PAS)

    Practice Advice Service offers support and advice on all areas of legal practice and procedure, including:

    • > anti-money laundering
    • > conveyancing
    • > private client
    • > litigation
    • > solicitors' costs

      Enquiries are dealt with by our team of experienced solicitors. Please note we cannot provide legal advice.

  • Anti-money laundering helpline

    Our dedicated team of solicitors has been advising Law Society members on anti-money laundering for nearly a decade. We can help answer enquiries around:

    • > customer due diligence
    • > source of funds
    • > sanctions and high risks jurisdictions list, and much more

    as well as help you navigate our Anti-money laundering practice note. Calls to us are free and confidential. Please note that we cannot give legal advice.

    Solicitors can call for advice on client care and complaints handling, including:

    Professional ethics helpline

    Run by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Professional ethics helpline gives advice on the SRA Handbook. Call from 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.
