Health and wellbeing report 2012

During June and July 2012, 2,267 practising certificate (PC) holders were interviewed about different aspects of their working lives.

This report outlines the findings from a set of questions relating to experience of health and wellbeing.

Key findings included:

  • 86 per cent of all PC holders reported that their health (covering both physical and mental health) was either 'very good' or 'fairly good'
  • Around one-third of PC holders had taken time off from work over the previous twelve months due to ill health
  • Almost all (95 per cent) of PC holders reported having negative stress in their working lives
