Guide to insurers 2016-17
A list of insurers that have indicated that they will participate in 2016-17. It outlines whether or not the insurer is rated or unrated and the practice sizes which it will consider providing cover to. The appendices also include information on insurers’ estimated market shares.
The Law Society has also produced a contact list of major insurance brokers working in the market of solicitors’ professional indemnity insurance (PII). Many of the insurers offering solicitors' PII can only be approached via an insurance broker, so we hope this list will prove useful for members in their search for the PII that best meets their requirements.
