Choose two mains, two sides and two dessert items.

Main dishes

  • Slow-cooked daube of Herefordshire beef, parsley and horseradish dumplings
  • Tagine of lamb, spiced couscous, dates and oranges
  • Roast turkey 'carved in the room', Christmas trimmings and turkey juices
  • Christmas chicken pie, sage and onion
  • Seared loch salmon, creamed leeks and wild mushrooms
  • Cornish hake, curried puy lentils, onion bhaji and mint yoghurt
  • Butternut squash risotto and aged parmesan
  • Lasagne, wild mushroom and spinach

Sides

  • Mashed potatoes with whole grain mustard
  • Goose fat roast potatoes
  • Steamed winter greens
  • Honey-roasted parsnips with baby carrots and Brussels sprouts
  • Pickled red cabbage with apples and golden sultanas
  • Green salad with lemon and honey vinaigrette

Desserts

  • Traditional Christmas pudding with Calvados sauce
  • Panettone bread and butter pudding, spiced Anglaise and cinnamon ice cream
  • Orange and Cognac panna cotta, citrus vierge, Madeline's
  • Selection of regional British farm house cheese, Christmas chutney and celery
