Council Chamber
This bright, airy room with contemporary oak furnishings is one of the most high tech meeting facilities in London following a large scale refurbishment in 2009 when it was also fitted with hi-spec Sony AV equipment.
The Council Chamber offers tiered seating for up to 100 delegates and each ergonomically designed seat has access to power and data. Delegate voting systems can be brought in to order.
Key features include:
- Multi-point video conferencing - a simultaneous meeting with up to four sites. Line charges payable separately.
- High definition plasma screens - the use of these large flat screens omits the need for a fixed projector and the risk of the projector's beam shining into the eyes of the presenter or anyone seated at the top table.
- Echo cancelling microphone and speaker systems - to ensure the best level of audio quality is experienced.
- An induction loop - to assist those with hearing impairment.
- WiFi access - via ISDN
- Remote control panel to manage lighting, blinds and all audio visual equipment - a one touch control panel that can be used from any position in the room. Pre-set requirements can be stored for regular meetings.
The combined audio visual and video conferencing equipment will enable the production of broadcast and web-cast presentations. This can be undertaken via a service provider or host website.
