To mark Trans Awareness Week (13 to 19 November), we talked to two people who have contributed to the Human Dignity Trust’s report Injustice exposed: The criminalisation of trans people and its impacts.

We discussed how such worldwide criminalisation came about, what it means now and what the future might hold.

Some of the stories in the report show exactly why Trans Day of Remembrance (20 November) is important.
