After a career in investment banking, Sarah Austin qualified as a solicitor in 1996. In 2001, Sarah became a fully qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and opened her own firm, Austins, in 2004.

Sarah has been a member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion committee since 2010, guiding the Law Society of issues of equality, diversity and inclusion.

As a trust and estate specialist, Sarah has acted as a court-appointed executor in contentious probate cases.

Sarah's articles have appeared in the legal media, as well as mainstream magazines. She has commented on a variety of issues, especially those affecting smaller businesses.

Her legal experience covers all types of firms, from the high street to global City practices.

She set up Austins in Chiswick in 2004 as a niche private client firm covering tax planning, property, probate, wills and debt.
