How much does it cost to enter?
There's no fee for entering the Law Society Excellence Awards 2020.
Is there a limit on how many entries we can submit? Our firm has many individuals and teams doing exceptional work.
There's no limit on how many entries you can submit: just check the criteria and any specific entry requirements.
You’ll need to complete separate entries for each firm/team or individual category you choose to enter.
Can I submit an entry for myself?
Yes, you can enter yourself if you meet the entry requirements and criteria. The only exception to this is the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Where can I find all the categories and entry rules?
Can I submit someone for an individual award if I am not from a law firm?
Yes, absolutely. The individual awards are designed to reward outstanding contributions to the legal profession, which may take many forms.
If you know of an exceptional legal professional, feel free to submit an entry for them.
I am unable to access the online booking site. Is there another way of entering?
We have an entry form available for those unable to use the online system.
Entry forms must be completed on a computer and emailed (along with any evidence) by 23:59 GMT on Friday 26 June 2020. Unfortunately, we cannot accept scanned or posted forms.
What is the deadline for entries?
The deadline for entries is 23:59 GMT on Friday 26 June 2020 if you submit using our online system.
When does the judging take place?
The judging will take place in July 2020.
When will the shortlist be announced?
The shortlist will be announced in early September 2020.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced at our online ceremony the week commencing Monday 12 October 2020.
