Career companion resources

We carried out a number of member surveys and you told us there are two areas where you need greater support from the Law Society:

  • career development
  • resilience

We’re launching new guidance, resources and services to help.

Whether you want to join a group of peers, explore online material in your own time or seek individual support, you’ll find something to suit you.

Explore our online career zone

Our online career zone, MyCareerCompanion, is still available on demand and free to use.

It offers a structured approach to help you identify career obstacles, deal with frustrations, find your focus and plan the best way forward for you.

You will work through questionnaires, pre-recorded webinars and specially developed video content to help you reflect on where you are and what you want to achieve.

Sign up for online coaching

Be Bold in Your Career is an online interactive coaching programme, offering junior lawyers flexible support. It will help you to focus on your personal development and take decisive action to move your career forward.

Bookings for our Be Bold programme have now closed.

Get one-to-one support

Our Career Skills sessions offer individual guidance on what makes a great CV or job application, and a chance to practice interview techniques. They’re open to solicitors with zero to three years' PQE.
