JAC Advisory Group seeking new members

The Judicial Appointments Commission of England and Wales (JAC) is looking to expand the membership of its Advisory Group.

The group meets every six weeks to quality assure the assessment tools (including qualifying tests) used by the JAC to assess candidates for judicial office in courts and tribunals.

Candidates should have:

  • a good understanding of the judiciary
  • an interest/experience in JAC processes
  • an interest/experience in recruitment of selection criteria
  • experience/understanding of the role of a lay member on a committee
  • strong analytical skills, and
  • a background in diversity.

We encourage all eligible Solicitor Judges Divsion members with an interest and/or experience in recruitment or diversity to apply.
