Law Society marks International Women's Day with #Dressedtoexpress campaign

12 March 2018

To mark International Women’s day (IWD) on 8 March, the Law Society is launching an online campaign as part of our Sisters in Law project (highlighting the challenges faced by BAME women in the law).

#DressedToExpress will encourage women to post pictures of themselves wearing something that reflects their ethnic background or identity, not being afraid to go against what might be 'expected of them' in terms of the office dress code.

There will be coverage of the campaign across a number of social media platforms including Twitter and on the Law Society website.

For more information on how you can get involved, or to post a picture, please contact Jerry Garvey, Diversity and Inclusion officer.
