What is the Family Law accreditation?
The Family Law Accreditation covers all types of family law work, except public law Children Act work, which is covered by the Children Law Accreditation.
Members will have shown that they have and will maintain the required level of competence and knowledge, as defined by the Law Society, in the area of family law.

In order to complete the application process for the Family Law Accreditation, follow the steps below:
1. Read the general application criteria and guidance (PDF 361 KB), which is applicable to all Law Society accreditations and the Family Law Accreditation guidance (PDF 154 KB).

A fee is applicable for each application. See the fee schedule (PDF 230 KB) for full details of accreditation costs.
4. Email your completed application form to us at:firstname.lastname@example.org.
5. Please do not make payment when submitting your application. On receipt of your application, the amount payable will be determined and an invoice will be sent to the individual applying for accreditation.
When emailing your application, please do not send files exceeding 18 MB. If necessary, please send your supporting documents in separate emails.
