How do I discharge a conveyancing charge in favour of the Law Society?

I act for clients in a conveyancing matter. The official copies show a charge in favour of the Law Society. Whom do I contact to get this discharged?

In April 1989 responsibility for the administration of the legal aid scheme transferred from the Law Society to the Legal Aid Board (now the Legal Aid Agency).

You therefore need to contact the Land Charges Department at the Legal Aid Agency:

Address: 7th Floor, 102 Petty France, London SW1H 9AJ
Telephone: 0203 334 6373
Email: land-charges-enquiry@legalaid.gsi.gov.uk
