Sarah Richardson, who supports the Law Society’s children law sub-committee, discusses with Timothy Hill, programme manager at the Law Society, how the EU GDPR affects the data protection rights of children.

They explore the new provisions in the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 which govern children’s consent and Information Society Services. They also discuss the need for clear communications and understanding of capacity and data protection.
