BAME becoming a judge workshop

The Law Society is running a free workshop for BAME solicitors with a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience who are interested in applying for judicial appointment.

The intensive one-day training course is run by an former Judicial Appointments Commission assessor, and will focus on tailoring candidates' submissions to make a positive impact in the competency-based application and selection process.

Applicants will also receive practical advice on completing the application form, incorporating their experiences and invaluable interview practice with feedback.

The workshop will be held on Saturday 30 March from 10.30am to 5pm at the Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1PL.

The workshop is limited to 10 participants and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
