International policy adviser (North Asia and the Pacific) at the Law Society
Catherine leads the Law Society of England and Wales’ engagement with North Asia and the Pacific. Her role includes monitoring and responding to international regulatory developments that impact the legal profession of behalf of the solicitor profession of England and Wales.
Prior to joining the Law Society, Catherine worked with the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute as its programme coordinator. She also has experience as a research officer and administrator in international law with the Law Council of Australia’s International Law and Business Law Sections, its International Division, and the South Pacific Lawyers’ Association.
Catherine has a Bachelor of Economics and an LLB (Hons) from the Australian National University. She qualified in the Australian Capital Territory and currently holds a practising certificate as a solicitor of New South Wales, Australia.
