Our campaign to improve the criminal justice system has recently received support from a number of politicians.
Most notably, Tom Brake MP (Liberal Democrats) asked the government in this week's Justice Oral Questions what steps it is taking to improve access to justice in the criminal justice system.
He also called on them to back the Law Society's campaign call for the legal aid means test limit to be increased.
A number of MPs - including shadow justice minister Gloria De Piero MP - have submitted parliamentary questions on issues related to our campaign, including on legal aid, duty solicitor shortages and problems with the court system.
We have written to the government outlining our concerns.
