Volunteers wanted for international-focused Gazette series
As the UK begins a new chapter outside the EU, we're working in conjunction with the Gazette to create a series of articles looking at how English law is being used in different jurisdictions.
The series will run as part of our Global Legal Centre campaign, which promotes the benefits of England and Wales as a centre for legal services.
We're interested in hearing from members working internationally especially those with experience in the following markets:
- Hong Kong
- European Union
- South Korea
What will I have to do?
The ‘Postcard from Abroad’ series is envisaged as a series of short articles by solicitors reflecting their personal experiences of being an English and Welsh-qualified solicitor who has experience of working in a country – either in situ or remote – where English law is prevalent.
The article would allow you to describe how you feel English law is used there, or in the region, why it is valued and opportunities you think are emerging in this post-Brexit era.
