Adele is a specialist employment & discrimination solicitor at Pattinson & Brewer. She was the 2017/18 chair of the JLD.
Adele is also a Social Mobility Ambassador and is a member of the Education and Training, and Employment Law Committees.
Alan East is chair of the Education and Training Committee and a Law Society Council member. He is a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy and assistant professor at Coventry University.
Alan is an innovator in legal education researching the use of technology such as robots and mobile remote telepresence devices. Alan started his legal career as a defence duty solicitor and Senior Crown Prosecutor.
