Volunteers wanted for newspaper business legal column in Yorkshire

We’re looking to start a new monthly newspaper column on the business pages of the Yorkshire Post and would like members to get involved.

We’re looking to pull together a pool of solicitors from across Yorkshire who are practising in areas of business and employment law and who can contribute ideas and content.

The column would help members of the business community to navigate a variety of legal issues and would help them to understand the important work of solicitors.

Contributing solicitors would have their contact details included at the bottom of the piece, alongside their photograph.

We produce a range of Legal Expert columns for different regional newspapers and magazines across England and Wales. They’re each displayed differently, depending on the publication, but you can get a feel for the kind of content we provide with this feature in The Northern Echo on Court of Protection.

To contribute, you’ll need to have a:

  • minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience
  • specialism in law relevant to business and employment

If you’re a practising solicitor in Yorkshire working in business and employment law and would like to participate, email lawsociety@dtw.co.uk by Friday 10 July 2020.

Include brief details of your level of experience, your specialism and tell us where you work, and we’ll be in touch soon.
