As Sheree Green completes three years of chairing our Mental Health and Disability Law Committee, she shares her experiences of working in this area of law as a solicitor and from a policy perspective.
Sheree explains the role of the committee and why the work that they do is so important in safeguarding solicitors, particularly those who work with vulnerable clients.
We also discuss the main policy concerns in mental health and disability law at present and in the future, which the committee will be working on as co-chaired by Polly Sweeney and Paul McGough.
Sheree Green is the director of Greenchurch Legal Services Limited. She is a professional Court of Protection deputy for those who do not have capacity to manage their own financial affairs.
Sheree has chaired the Law Society’s Mental Health and Disability Law Committee for three years, and will step down to become a committee member now that her tenure has been completed.
