Update:vote results and Law Society statement
The Law Society has called a special general meeting at 10:30 on 17 December.
The meeting will consider a motion of no confidence in the Law Society's leadership. The motion relates to the strategy adopted by the Law Society to influence and ameliorate the government's criminal legal aid proposals.
Under the rules of the Society, the SGM will also receive the minutes from July's AGM (available below).

Pre-registration has now closed.
- Members can still attend on the day, but the registration process will take longer as checks must be made against the solicitors' roll.
- To speed up the process, please bring your SRA card and photo ID.
- Doors will open at 9:00 and there could be queues for registration. Free tea and coffee will be available.
